My tomato plants are very healthy and tall but no fruit, should I cut the tops off and hope they set on again?

My heirloom tomato plants are 8 ft tall very full and healthy, but no tomoatoes. They get plenty of sun, and water. They were full of flowers early in the spring, but none now. ????
