Should I/ how can I tell my mom I lost a family heirloom? Please help?

ask her if she has seen it. tell her u haven't seen it and was curious. unless u packed it or lost it playing with it, it should be an innocent enough question. u r acting like it is your fault is is gone. if it disappeared in the move how can that be your fault. it may still be in a box somewhere. yes tell her.
