How to kill silverfish without harming antiques?
I just opened my grandma's 100 year old plus trunk with a lot of faimly heirlooms (that survived so far) and a SWARM of silverfish came out. Wish I was joking but I am not. After screaming like a child and getting over my inital phobia of them I realized now I must get rid of them. Then I realized I have no idea how to. Are they sensitive to cedar like moths? Will mothballs deter them? What sucks is I am to scared to \open the books from back in the 1800s to see what damage has done to them. Again phobia. So any idea how to kill these bastards with out distroying further the stuff I thougth was safe.
