Anyone a Sims 3 expert?

I was playing the game and you know when you choose to move out a person from your household well, i did that and i accepted it and it was processing....i waited for a awhile and after 40 minutes its still processing!!!! I dont want to exit out the game because i didnt save it and i did a bunch of changes to my household and sims so please anyone knows how to fix this without exiting the game.
